              Hi everyone, I have a raspberry pi3 b and a controlcblock rev2.1
              Official version of Retropie: retropie-4.5.1-rpi2_rpi3
              USB device: USB keyboard

I install everything by following these steps:
              https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2#downloading

              Mistakes:
              access denied: /etc/controlblock config.cfg
The buttons are not recognized and the switch does not work properly.

              can you help me?

              A greeting.

@Mario Try installing the driver from the RetroPie-Setup script, from the drivers section, then enable the service if installation is fine.

@mitu I still have the same problems, i'm sure I'm still doing something wrong.

                    I follow these steps first:
                    sudo apt-get update
                    sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
                    sudo apt-get install git

                    cd
                    git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup.git

                    cd RetroPie-Setup
                    sudo ./retropie_setup.sh

                    Finally I follow these steps:
                    git clone --recursive https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2.git
                    cd ControlBlockService2
                    mkdir build
                    cd build
                    cmake ..
                    make
                    sudo make install
                    sudo make installservice

I apologize for my ignorance, any ideas?
                    Greetings and thank you.

If you already have a RetroPie image, you just need to start the setup script, then go to Manage packages -> Manage driver packages and you can install the controlblock package from there.

Hello everyone, in the end I will use Recalbox with two USB interfaces.
For me it is much easier.

Thank you all for the help, best regards.
