Question about Crispy Doom keys and controller
-
Hello, I'm new to this scene and I love my new Pi 3 :)
This probably has been asked too many times, sorry, I just need little guidance.Just got Crispy Doom and runs flawlessly, but when I went into the game menu, there are no key configurations to be found. I can move using my keyboard and mouse, no problems, but I really want to use my usb Joy most of the times. Is it possible? If not, how can I remap some keys in the game? I want my Jump key on my mouse and I can re assing it.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my noobness, slow learning here, but learning :p

@mahcneto You need to go the the command line and run
crispy-doom-setup
which should be in the same folder as the crispy-doom binary. Here is the documentation for set up in Chocolate Doom. Crispy Doom is a fork of Chocolate Doom so the setup process will be the same.

I've found crispy-doom-setup file with the command line, but how do I run it? I don't know about SSH too much, the Pi is giving me my 1st steps

@mahcneto You can enter the following at the command line:
cd /path/to/binary ./crispy-doom-setup
Alternatively, you can enter
/path/to/binary/crispy-doom-setup

Thanks! Got to change the mappings correctly! :D
Shame the menu doesn't allow me to map the Jump button tho, it's just not in the mapping options for the gamepad.
