@jpstagg This means it's not enabled for the Pi4 - might not even work.

@mitu It works but I forgot what flag I removed from the script. You also need to adjust the resolution manually since it won't stretch the video on a pi4. I'll check later.

To enable the ability to install Daphne on the Retropie-setup menu under optional, just comment out the following line like so in /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/scriptmodules/emulators/daphne.sh line 17, and then run the retropie-setup script again:

            #rp_module_flags="!x86 !mali !kms"

I can't say it will work, but it will at least let you compile it.

It will work (at least it works for me) but by default it may appear in a small window in the upper-left of the screen. If so, you could modify the last line of /opt/retropie/daphne.sh and add -fullscreen -x 1920 -y 1080 (for an HDTV) to get it to run full screen. Would look something like this:

              "/opt/retropie/emulators/daphne/daphne.bin" "$name" vldp -nohwaccel -framefile "$dir/$name.txt" -homedir "/opt/retropie/emulators/daphne" -fullscreen -x 1920 -y 1080 $params

@roslof Yes, that's how I got it working.

Has this changed, I found Daphne under optional packages on the pi4 weekly build. I selected install from binary, will this work or do I need to compile from source?

@Uskompuf Why don't you give it a try ? The installation method doesn't matter.
