Love this image. Makes me wanna run back up to my room after dinner.

Nice approach!
Its good to see people trying to make theie own versions. A theme can´t fit everyones preferences so its great to have some variants -
A very nice sentiment. I have done the same with mine although I have changed mine to show the console instead of the controller and changed the text to the system logo. I have kept the art work as that is superb.

DUDE! This is so cool! Now my little nephew won't be scared by the epic noir artworks. That to me looks awesome, as I already said in previous occasions (thank you chiculeo for the outstanding work), but he's 7 years old and he has a rather different perception of the things :D
I also really appreciate that you added the systems logos on top left of their respective subfolders. I don't know how it might look with the logos also in the main system page, in place of the simple white big systems names.
Keep it up, guys :)

@hoover900 This looks great. Both you and the original developers did a fantastic job - and your mods look fantastic.
I notice that you are missing Atari systems, Ports, PSPMinis - do you think you'll be adding these additional systems? I like your art choices.
-
@brand My first theme "Chicuelo" has a childish and friendly look, that´s why I created epic noir, for more adult users. If you want to try my other theme I think your nephew will love it!
-
@ratedrguy to be honest, I don't know anything about the Atari systems as they're before my time. If there's notable fan art that you think would work please send it my way man. As for the Ports and PSPminis they're too niche. Again if there's any art that you feel would work for either these system feel free to send it my way. I've had a little too much free time with this lock down an all, so I could bang something out rather quick. thanks for the support as well.
-
@brand awesome man! while I didn't think the art for Epic Nior was scary, I'm glad to hear my art selection isn't as scary for your nephew. The logos wouldn't as look good instead of text. Like you said "simple white big system names". I dug what Chicuelo was doing and want to keep that feel, but with a little more color. I suggest that you fork my githup repo of the theme and give it a try switching out the text with logos. thanks for the support.

@chicuelo thanks man and thank you and @c64-dev for making Epic Noir in the first place to start all of this.
-
@WeirdH thanks man, thought it was fitting for last played as all.

As well as the Atari suggestions is there any chance for the 8 bit computers from the 80's?
Commodore VIC-20
Commodore C64
Commodore C16
Amstrad CPC464
ZX SpectrumKR

@HurricaneFan starting your statement with "Not to be a dick" is always a dick move, but no hard feelings man. criticism is criticism be it bluntly put or gently given.
-
@CCFox ZX and the C64 are on my list to do, but the C16, Vic, and Amstrad aren't on that list. What are some notable exclusive games on the C16, VIC, and Amstrad, as well as the ZX and C64?
-
Hmmm....
ZX Spectrum: I would say Dizzy the Egg....Notable games are Treasure Island Dizzy and Fantasy Island Dizzy.
Amstrad: I would say any Roland games...That was the unofficial mascot and a few games came out that revolved around him...Roland on the Ropes and Roland In the Caverns to name two.
Commodore 64: Looking online International Karate and Impossible Mission are fan favourites.
Commodore VIC-20: Well my favourite is Blitz (City Bomber in the US).
Commodore 16: Again my favourite was Saboteur.
Hope this helps.
Again Kind Regards

Am I allowed to do these links?
-
@CCFox I'm sorry to say, but none of those games have any fan art or official art that thematically fits with the theme. Not finding anything on Artstation, pixiv, or even google.

@hoover900 Cracking job there mate! As Nico said, it's great seeing what other people can do with the theme we created.
In fact, when we first started out making the EN theme, one of our first priorities was to make it easy for people to change the poster images etc to their liking.
Now look at this beauty! :)
