I made a mistake in my config and would like to remove the existing configs for the different cores.
Is there an easy way to reset the controls? I can re-assign the controls in ES, although how do I trigger the cores to update the controls? Because it seems the cores are not updating the controls and continue to use the existing controls that I had set before re-configure the buttons in ES.

@raspnoobie can you try via retropie-setup > configuration tools > emulationstation > clear/reset emulationstation input configuration

          Thanks!,
That will delete not only the ES control assignments but also all the other control assignments? After re-assigning controls in ES it works OK but Retroarch for example does not

@raspnoobie i believe so, but that's why i asked you to try :)

if you've manually created per-system or ROM overrides, you'll have to manually delete those.

It did work :) I was away from the pi so I wanted to ask clarification before doing it.

Was not because of lack of thrust; I simply like to know what am I doing and what happens when I do something :) Thanks!
