@arcadez2003 Really appreciate the work you guys do with this emulator. Please keep up the good work 🙏🏻

Well i dunno if it can be classed as good work but i added support for this recently dumped Capcom CPS1 prototype to MAME2003+...............

      Gulun.Pa!

Just an ole puzzler it wont set the world on fire, but i dont remember seeing one where you can actually turn the blocks while they're stacked up
so maybe it's unique in that regard.??

@arcadez2003 - Do you happen to know if the DAT has been updated for the new game Gulun.Pa! and sample support for Two Tigers and Journey?

I saw someone mention the OST samples for ffightae are listed in the DAT. It seems something is wrong. The parent doesn't have samples but the clone is linked to the parent as a cloneof/sampleof with listed samples.

I wonder if it should be removed because none of the other OST's are in the DAT. They are more optional. I don't mind either way but maybe adding all or removing all might be cleaner vs. just one OST has been added.

I pretty much count on the DAT when it comes to updating my set. Either that or it's word of mouth so to speak as no one knows really what games have been added except for a few.

@grant2258's on the fly DAT generation has always been one of my favorite features because you don't have to manually track all game/sample additions. Maybe we can kindly ask him for help if it's not to involved. I hate to see all that awesome work he did on the DAT fall apart! :)

@Riverstorm its easy enough to fix as im banned from libretro. I cant send any fixes even if I wanted too any notifications with @ are blocked as well so im not ignoring anyone or anything just so you know.

all you need to do is add the romname to this list here.

@grant2258 - Uugh, no I understand and never thought of you as someone that ignores people as you have always been helpful since the beginning with this core and I appreciate it immensely.

So...I'm completely green and I've never submitted a pull request but have messed with tutorials only. Do you use something like Github Desktop, download the repository, make changes locally and submit them back from the PC to the master branch?

              uest but have

The easiest way to do it is fork it to your github on the webpage then edit that file via your web page on your github then do a pull request. I usually use the command line though i never really found github desktop as useful as the command line

@grant2258 - It's submitted. I appreciate your help walking through that. Are adding the Journey samples to the DAT doable or is that a bit more complicated?

@grant2258 - Ok, great I really appreciate your help as I would have had no idea how or where to locate the correct file to make the changes. Doing is one thing and knowing is another! ;)

Hello! I'm trying to use on mame2003plus the uni-bios_4_0.rom for my neogeo games. I tried adding the bios to every single game and selecting it from options in retroarch, but I can't even select it even after rebooting the Pi 3b I normally use. How can I solve this?

post an issue on the github page for someone to add it. Devs will see it that way

put the unibios files in the neogeo.zip file

@gomisensei as far as I know, bios are inside of every rom for mame2003plus. I did it on the neogeo.zip I use for FBNeo.

Hmm you wont see this in MAME for years and years im also not sure you will see it in FBN either, since it's on sale just now via the SNK Samurai Shodown Collection
you'd need to be brave to support this until now unreleased prototype in MAME2003+ we'll see..........

@arcadez2003 that game is disappointing, they removed finishers and various animations for the sake of making room for a story mode (only available in japanese)

So far from perfect then :) it might not be worth a potential lawsuit for adding it.

On a separate note as per an issue that popped up on the github, if you want to play F1-GP Star II in this core make sure you do not use the romset
from MAME78 as it will contain bad dumps of the sprite graphical roms, you need f1gpstr2.zip to be post MAME88.

I quiet like Samurai Shodown would be worth a look at a later date as i havent played the latest and greatest cant say if its bad or not. I do agree though its not worth the risk to yourself adding this as its the person that does the commits that holds the responsibility at the end of the day.

Not sure there is much reason for worry legally-wise, anyone can acquire the game and extract the romset using existing open-source software, and the game is technically already supported by any neogeo emulator. As long as no emulator try to reproduce the emulation quirks (the "official" emulator uses some to add stuff above the original content), it should be fine.

The missing animations and the fact that the pc port of samsho5p is an actual port, we won't be seeing a "rom dump". I got it for free from the epic store and extracted its contents. There's no roms inside.
