Mame 2015

I know this is a fairly subjective question that gets asked probably too often but compared to 2003 plus what arcade games are available in 2015 version that are must haves .
Seem a post in the help section about one game and thought oh I need that and then I thought oh what other wonders am I missing . -

@gorgar19 On pi0-pi3, i don't believe there are many playable must-haves in mame2015 that you wouldn't be able to play already on mame2003+ or FBNeo (which have a way better integration with the libretro api). On pi4, mame2016 is nice for cv1k games (see https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/26807/deathsmiles-on-lr-mame2015-any-performance-tips), idk of any other "must have" playable addition beside that (and you might not even be interested by that kind of game, i'm not), there might also be glitchy games in mame2003+ that'll ran better in more recent mame though.

@gorgar19 Mame2003 has bugs with system16/18/32. For 16/18, the bootleg versions are required, and some games might have missing sound effects/maybe other bugs. For system 32, golden axe 2 has buggy shadows. The main reason to use other mame's, if you pi can handle it, is for more accurate emulation.
You need a pi4, though. I mainly use fbneo and whatever that doesn't well or not at all, they get moved to mame2016, and if that fails, then mame2010. I'm not sure how well system16/18 is emulated in fbneo, i think @barbudreadmon said 18 had issues? Either way, I prefer my System games together so I use them with 2016.

Afaik system16 is fine, system18 is a different matter (among other things, i kinda remember there are tile priority issues) and would require a major rewrite to be glitch-free.
