      Here are the download instructions.
      Power on your pi.
      Go into the file manager.
      Power on another computer.
Use Chrome to save the splashscreen to a USB drive.
Transfer it to the /home/pi/RetroPie/splashscreens/ folder on the pi.
type emulationstation into the terminal to start back up RetroPie.
      Go into the splashscreens menu.
      Go to "Choose a splashscreen."
Go to "Select a splashscreen from /home/pi/RetroPie/splashscreens/
      Select the splashscreen.
      Confirm and reboot.

Turns out, there was a formatting error in the name of the splashscreen! (oops.)

I looked a while back and the name was: Splashscreen.png\

I removed the backslash and changed the name to: splash.png and it worked!

@IceChes1 You should submit a pull request to retro pie on github for this.

You can't beat the classics(unless you copy them).

@IceChes1 no need to be mean. If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all and keep scrolling.

@Unknown Thanks so much! It only took like 20 minutes to put together on a website called Canva. It's really handy if you want to make something like it.

Oh my lord, I am such a noob!

Sorry mate, thought someone was trolling you. Trying to defend you.

I'll maybe read posts a bit better in future. It's been a long day at work....
