But Kiosk mode and "hide the RetroPie-Setup" i dont know.

Look into https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Child-friendly-EmulationStation/#ui-modes and see how the UI modes (Kid/Kiosk) work. Make sure you know how to switch modes, so you will not get locked into Kiosk/Kid mode.

        Thank you.

Ist nicht einfach, den richtigen Link zu finden, wenn man nicht sehr gut englisch spricht ^^

It's not easy to find the right link if you don't speak English very well ^^

            And my english is terrible.
I mean the question in Google is difficult if you don't speak English well. I understand well.

But you and sirhenry have already helped me a lot: D

A german section here would be cool. I'm a Swiss.

AND: RetroPie is fantastic. Good job !!

If the machine is in the bar, can I define an extra button for "exit game"?
If someone wants to leave the game, this should be possible without instructions.

What bar ? You said you'll be borrowing to some friends ?

I say: "Es könnte sein, dass ich die Maschine bei einer Kollegin in ihre Bar stelle." ("I might put the machine in a colleague's bar.")
She is a old friend of me ^^

@treki Using RetroPie in a commercial enterprise is against the projects' license. Some of the emulators included in RetroPie have also non-commercial licenses.

I have not edited this phrase!
I have edited other things! Only add the english translation of it.

And don't worry: I will not use retropie commercially. I will provide that for free (maybe in the bar of my friend).

Is it ok, when I write only in german? You can use the translator.....

I disagree. The original post at 8:43 :

Edited post with the mention about the bar added at 09:26:

Even if playing the arcade is still free to play, this still qualifies as commercial usage.

I still have to build the machine. Is my next project.
If I give them to use, it is still in the stars.

Is a german section not a option?

                            That's unlikely.

                              Too bad.
Many misunderstandings arise only because of the translator.

If I give the machine for 3-4 weeks is that commercial use? I think not.
In Switzerland we have not the same (sick) laws than Germany!

I don't think there's any misunderstanding here - it doesn't matter how much time the machine is used in a commercial place, it still qualifies as commercial usage.
If you friend wants to have an arcade machine in the bar, then they should purchase one, along with the licensed games included.

OK forget it. But that would be my problem. RetroPie will hardly have a problem there.

                                      "hardly"? = translator

                                      German original:
Ok, vergiss es. Das wäre aber dann mein Problem. RetroPie wird da kaum ein Problem bekommen.

ATM I look with americans for wood work. It's many cheaper than in Europe!

No, it's not just 'your problem'. As I said, RetroPie includes emulators with non-commercial usage, so you'd be also breaching their license, while associating RetroPie with commercial usage.

If you find yourself unable to respect the RetroPie license, then this is not the place to get support.

As I said, I have to build the device first and borrowing it is just an idea.
                                            If that's really a problem, I won't do it.
                                            Back to the actual question:
I don't want my machine to be manipulated (if left unattended).
First and foremost, the machine will be in my apartment.
