Since N64 plays much better on the Pi4 I've decided to get a dedicated N64 controller. It must be wireless and compatible with existing Retropie drivers.

      Does anyone have suggestions?

      Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
      ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

@George-Spiggott I use a 8Bitdo N64 Bluetooth Controller. It has been discontinued but you can still found it on Amazon. The analog stick is not like the real one, but overall I’d say it is ok.

Is that the one that is the exact shape of the original n64 controller? It looks like a good option but they are hard to find. There's also a Hyperkin Admiral. does anyone here use one?

@George-Spiggott I've been looking for a decent n64 wireless controller for a while now with no luck. I could only find one 8bitdo one on ebay and the price was ridiculous. I believe they are bringing out a new one soon but nothing yet. Just using a ps4 one for n64 games for the time being but its hard going. Let me know how you do

Saw this on Amazon but it doesn't have a Trigger button underneath, which is surely an essential thing.

Does anyone know if the Mayflash N64->USB Adaptor works on Pi? They aren't cheap but can be bought, and I probably have an N64 Controller at home somewhere.

Edit: I now realise the original post was for a Wireless controller - so I am sorry for muddying the waters somewhat.

@george-spiggott funnily enough, this week I started using my old GameCube controller for n64 games on Retropie. Using an 8bitdo gbros adapter, have to say am very happy with the setup
