I'm having problems saving settings for some emulators, currently Lr-Virtual Jaguar and Lr- Yabause keep resetting to 'custom' when I change games. I can change the settings to 4:3 and save the settings but when I quit out the change is lost. Previously I had a similar problem where emulators would reset to 'custom' when I save other changes to the config.

I did a full update last night and that does not seem to have solved the problem.

      Currently running:
Retropie 4.8.9 on a Pi Zero 2W (Overclock Settings: CPU 1400Mhz)
      ES-DE on a GMKtec K6 (Windows 11, 32GB RAM)

I am not sure if you use Game Overrides and Core Overrides but I had the Custom Aspect issue happening when I used Game Overrides and Core Overrides together. This never use to happen until recent updates. What I did was I deleted my Core Overrides and made the Game Overrides only include the settings I wanted which was the Overlay to use and the Opacity to use for the overlay.

Deleted the retroarch.cfg files for both emulators in their respective config folders and rebooted. Problem solved.

@Chupachups Lr-Virtual Jaguar is configs/atarijaguar/retroarch.cfg and Lr- Yabause is configs/saturn/retroarch.cfg.

I guess that works too but I went into the actual Core config files, I cant remember the exact path, opt/retropie/configs.
