FBNEO highscore.dat

I noticed in FBneo while playing PacMan there is a feature to save high scores. What .dat file do I need and where do I put it to get the high scores to save?
Thank you -
High scores should be saved automatically, the
hiscore.dat
file needed by the emulator is automatically copied on installation to$biosdir/fbneo
. -
When I exit pacman and reopen it the highscore isn't saved though so that's weird
-
@UberLumby What's the ROM name ?

my fbneo high scores also get saved to ...
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/arcade/fbneo
i backed up and deleted pacman.hi ... started the game, high score gone ... exited the game ... copied the pacman.hi back ... started the game, high score back.
OP should check the fbneo core options as well and make sure the Hiscores setting is ON

Also it says last time it changed was back in September so that means it isn't being updated(I assume).. maybe I should delete it and seeing if it creates a new .hi?
I see it but everytime I boot the game the high score area is blank... bit strange. The hiscores options is on.. i'll test it again tomorrow thanks for the responses

@UberLumby maybe you have runahead turned on ? hiscores won't work if runahead is turned on.

Probably a Permissions thing i guess ?
My hi score directory has full permissions for read and write

That's because of retroarch limitations, see https://github.com/libretro/FBNeo/issues/37 and linked issues.
