If anyone has played redream using an xbox 360 wireless receiver and controller have you noticed the joystick randomly has ghost inputs? In NFL blitz the menu will go crazy and in power stone I'll be going to the left sometimes when I touch the joystick.
If anyone has had this issue and knows if I could do anything to fix it, let me know.
    Thanks!

I'm starting to wonder too if it's specific roms because I just played thps2 with no problem

Never mind my 8bitdo wasn't doing it. I guess redream doesn't like the 360 wireless receivers

@UberLumby it is actually doing it too with flycast... really strange cause naomi and atomiswave don't do that with the 360 controller. I'm really scratching my head over this Haha and I don't think it's joystick drift cause I've been using the same controller to play smb3 mix recently with no problems

I use wireless Xbox 360 controllers and I have no issues with redream or flycast. I wonder if your analog stick has some drift issues. Try increasing the deadzone a little bit in the redream settings and see if that helps.

I was wondering that too but when I play psx with dual shock on I never get any drift.. when I play thps2 on redream I don't get any drift.. it's just a handful of dreamcast games. Hydro thunder the menu select acts weird. NFL blitz menu select goes insane and I run to the left in power stone. Just some examples. It's really odd. If it is drift issues it's only happening in dreamcast. Doesn't happen when I play skate 3 on 360.

Was playing dolphin blue atmoiswave with it too and no drift. When I use my sn30pro though those games I mentioned act fine. It's really strange...

(Also I maxed out the axis dead zone and it helps it still goes crazy but not nearly as bad playing those.games mentioned before)

I've been trying to figure it out but nothing seems to be working. I even removed the joystick selection script but that doesn't even effect redream. So I'm stumped I'll just have to deal with it. It only really screws with the menus anyway.

                Update:
Just borrowed another 360 controller and same thing happens. I'm using the offical Microsoft xbox 360 wireless receiver for windows (white) one of the first ones ever made. I'm not sure if that's the issue but the issue still only happens with dreamcast.

I play Hydro thunder with redream and original xbox360 wireless joystick without problem. Also with one no original. NB: if the battery are no full charge, I frequently lose my connection with no original joypad. Best with 3,7v battery pack.

try disabling the onboard bluetooth controller in your /boot/config.txt file and then insert a quality usb bluetooth adapter and reconnect your controller to the pi and reconfigure the new controller.

The pi4's onboard bluetooth adapter is not of the highest quality. I suffered from ghosting especially when trying to use 2 wireless controllers at the same time.

When I went to a quality third party adapter the ghosting issues went away completely.

What receiver do you use because it seems to be an issue with that
the xboxdrv "fixes" the issue with some titles but not really it'll make my skater in THPS2 do perfect 180 spins every time I ollie it's super bizzare.

                          original Microsoft, me too
i don't use anymore driver xboxdrv because after installation of retropie image, xbox pad works without install it from retropie setup menu, so i think not necessary for me to go in setup menu and install package
