@HPK-de nevermind. i found my problem with running retro city rampage any faster than 20mhz. i had to split the power between the hdd and the pi. i dont run dos games off the hdd, but apparently running that game requires a lot from the pi.

@dawtyne10 Hope you could make Raptor and JazzRabbit ported to Pi3. Thanks a lot!

Supaplex and Cannon Fodder, I played the AMIGA version of Cannon Fodder 2 and I really loved it.

On my Pi a still have a few MS-DOS games that I enjoy very much, they are:

              • Abuse
              • Blues Brothers (there are other BB games, but this one is really nice)
              • Dragon's Lair - Escape from Singe's Castle (a hidden gem!)
              • Commander Keen 4 to 6
              • Terminal Velocity (runs at 1 fps on my Pi, bummer!)
              • Supaplex (also, somewhat of a hidden gem)

There are a few games that I played a lot, but I found other versions that are better or more easy to install/play:

              • Prince of Persia 2 - The Shadow and the Flame (the game that I've enjoyed the most in my life): I recently found out that the Mac version completely blows the graphics of the MS-DOS version away.
              • Lemmings: I find it more easy to play the SNES version.
              • Descent: PSX

I don't have any on the Pi yet but I got a few old favorites of mine I want to try.

                        3D Lemmings
                        One Must Fall 2097
                        Cyberia
                        11th Hour
                        Space Hulk
                        Tie-Fighter
                        Mega Race
                        Brix
                        Boppin
                        Descent
Descent II (which I think originally was DOS if memory serves me right)
Windows 3.X (mostly so I can play something like the first 'Journey Man Project' if possible)
                        Doom 1 and 2
                        Heretic
                        Hexen
                        Duke Nukem 3D
... and a bunch of old random freeware games that folks made back in the 90's that I use to play the crap out of. That is if I can find my old disk archives. I use to back up everything I downloaded from the net back then.

Luckily there are a lot of sites with abandonware like: http://www.abandonia.com/en/game/all

@Meneer-Jansen I love that place. Sadly, the freeware games I mentioned were made by college kids back in the mid 90's and most are lost forever. This one game called 'Diamond Runner' was a really cool home brew RPG in the flavor of 'Phantasy Star' for the Master System. Graphics wasn't as good but the music was awesome for SB 16 midi.

I had tons of stuff I use to play allot at night when I was in college back then.

I'm having trouble with Chasm: The Rift and Blood running to slowly, has anyone experienced this as well?
