I'm working on additional functionality for my secondary screen and I thought it would be helpful to be able to show system information, but I'm not sure what to include. What information about your Pi do you think would be useful to see on a secondary screen while you're running RetroPie?

Below is a photo of what I was able to put together on my lunch break today based on the example code from Adafruit. My code is a mess right now, but I'll be sure to share what I come up with when it's "done"

        That's pretty slick.

I might add: Available hard drive space & Free memory/Percentage used. Date next to the time.

Where do you plan on mounting this?

@demesauce The plan is to put the screen in the label area of a Super Famicom cartridge and have it interface via the cartridge slot. I got a soccer game for $4 shipped that I plan to use. The 2.2" TFT is just about the same size as the black area of the label.

I already have the screen displaying a default image when I'm in EmulationStation and then displaying game art when I am playing a game. I also have the Super Famicom's Reset button working to toggle the backlight. What I'd like to do is have the Reset button toggle between game art, system info, and the backlight being totally off.

Once I get the screen in place I want to make up a new label for the cartridge, but I don't know where I'd get one printed, but that's a task for another day.

@demesauce I'm really happy with how things are going. I'm learning a ton about everything as I work on this project. I've hit a few roadblocks, but thanks to the help on this forum, searching online and a lot of trial and error I'm coming up with solutions to most of my problems.

I added the date, RAM, and disk usage as @demesauce suggested. It's a bit cluttered, but I can adjust the formatting. At least now I know I can get the data.
