Disable CEC?
-
I have one RPI3B+ for LibreELEC and another one for Retropie. Suddenly LibreELEC stops being able to be controlled by CEC. A restart didn’t solve the problem. Actually the TV didn’t recognize any CEC compatible devices in the listings.
Until I noticed that Retropie had hung in the ES menu on screen saver (it usually does if have been idling for a week or two).
When restarting Retropie, the CEC on LibreELEC started working again. This has happened on three different occasions, so it was reproducible.
I therefore suspect the Retropie is DDoS-ing my TV’s CEC service.
Is there a way to nicely disable CEC on Retropie. I have never used it...
Thank you for your support!

@arcuza hi, you can add this configuration to config.txt:
hdmi_ignore_cec=1Source: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/config-txt/video.md
