      Hi

Been testing my otherwise pretty much overlooked Gameboy Advance and some games seems to be pretty good actually.

There is one thing I'm just checking, has anyone has any success with Advance Wars (1) to run?

I've tested several different version but none is working and other games working flawlessly.

I just wanted to check if it's on my side or a general issue with Advance Wars...

Edit: Log didn't output anything useful.

      Pi 4
RetroPie Version 4.72 (I think, updated retrospie script 14 February and have no access to the system right now)
lr-mgba (updated binary, haven't tested to update from source)

Enable verbose logging during launch and post the full log on pastebin.com.

@mitu verbose... how did I not think of that.

[ERROR] Could not read content file "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/gba/A*****.zip".

was the only thing that stood out.

          Full log here: https://pastebin.com/6xv396Ka

Unzipped file is fine, ran the .gba file on mgba on my computer just now and it launched just as it should.

I'll look though the xml etc and see if I can remove anything related to the rom if there is something odd that happened along the way.

            @stuffu

            /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/gba/A*****.zip

i would rename this to something without special characters. eg 'advancewars.zip'

i would also unzip it, just to rule out issues with the archive

@dankcushions Thanks, I just hid the filename for the rom :) Will try to rename it anyway...

Problem solved, I don't know if this is a general "issue" but the filename had double spaces in the file name . Deleting one and the rom worked.
