@locdamn said in Drastic unable to launch games:

Talking about a drastic.sh missing but he's clearly here.

Did you check that /opt/retropie/emulators/drastic/drastic.sh is present ? The file should be created during installation - did you run the installation from RetroPie-Setup ?

There should be 2 files : the original drastic and also a drastic.sh script used to launch. If you're missing the .sh file, as the error says, then try re-installing drastic and launch a game again.

@locdamn Looks similar to crashes reported for games that require microphone.

I doubt it, since it's a closed source (for now) emulator.

Probably they don't, but the emulator might try to find it anyway.

Do you have the desktop installed by chance ? You haven't offered much info about your setup (per https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first).

The desktop is not a requirement for DraStic, but installing it also installs the PulseAudio service, which might cause issues with it.

@locdamn Can you start the desktop and then run manually DraStic from a terminal (xterm) ?

                                        cd /opt/retropie/configs/nds/drastic
                                        /opt/retropie/emulators/drastic "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/nds/Pokemon SoulSilver.nds"

See if any errors are reported in the terminal.

That's the correct command - isn't anything shown on the terminal ? Is the command finishing immediately ?

                                            What's the output of
