@adambegood binding it to +axis5 instead of just axis5 I thought would have done the trick.
Hmmm weird. Don't worry about it, it is very strange. The game is perfectly playable with RB as Accelerate

@adambegood How does redream handle swapping disks for RE2? I recall PSX emulators having issues with this specific game as you needed to load the cleared save from the other disc in order to start scenario B.

Hey
Thanks a lot for the info
i got it working to wince game (even Heroes of might and magic 3 porotype too many bugs for the game)
but wince runs well ! :) thanks agagin -
Damn, even Half Life runs. Seems to run well. Sadly the one analog controls are absolutely horrendous but I do believe this might be the only way currently to play the Decay campaign on the Pi?

My understanding was that the game should save at the end of the first Disk and then you should be okay when you re-start with the second disk, in a general Dreamcast sense. I am not sure about Resi 2 specifically.
-
@zering You don't disc swap with RE2. It saves to the VMU at the end of disc 1 and then loads that save when you load disc 2.
-
@inolen Brilliant, thanks. I've beaten the PSX version countless times but never the Dreamcast one. I'm thinking of doing Leon A / Claire B for a change...

Does the decay campaign work with the dreamcast version? I thought that it was a ps2 exclusive. On a side note you can run xash3d (engine that runs half-life) on the pi with very good performance and does support modern dual analog controls. Plus you can run a number of expansions and mods for it.

@quicksilver You're right, I got confused. Decay was for PS2.
I tried several times to get xash3d working, to no avail sadly. -
Thanks for this @inolen!
This morning I tried:
-Sega Rally - Ran great
-Kiss Psycho Cirus - Ran around in the first room but seemed to be fine!
-Puzzle Bobble 4 - Playable but with a bit of slow down (it seems so simple too...)
-Super Runabout - Seemed to be full speed but with intermittent stutter. -
