      Hi folks,

      I have installed RetroPie on my Raspberry Pi 4: Linux 5.4.72-v7l+ armv7l GNU/Linux The operating system boots properly, but it does not recognise the German character set after I pressed F4, even though this was set with raspi-config. What else can I do? Unfortunately, an entry in /etc/X11/xorg.conf did not help either. Thanks for a helpful tip.

      Many greetings

        @horald:
        Hi folks,

        has been taken care of. You have to go through the menu item "Localization options/keyboard" in raspi-config. I only saw the first entry and then wondered what it had to do with the German keyboard setting, but the queries come after that.

        Many greetings
        Horst
