@tommkell FYI: i mapped Coin1 to Coin4 to the Shoulder-Buttons of my Gamepad, just to be able to play the character of my choice.
Of Course a real cabinet with 4 coinslots would be much nicer, but it does the job for a quick turtles or simpsons brawling session :)

I'm on a 1 up modded cabinet with 1 coin door fitted, I don't have a select button for hotkeys etc either, makes it nice and simple, and toddler proof!

it turns out extdwnhl doesn't work even with the hiscore support code, i'm guessing something isn't right in the seta driver (i'm only half surprised, we already had issues when adding hiscores for daioh - another seta game - last year).

just to confirm: the new added Seibu-Shmups dont have hiscore-support as well at this point? I only tested "Raiden Fighters 2" yesterday and in this game the highscores were resetted to default after restarting the game.

@weirdh hmmm, i just put the hiscore support code for this one, however i'm wondering if it actually works, usually the emulator would let me know after it found the hiscore memory range (most of the time, during attract), but this game is telling me nothing, 3 possibilities :

it'll actually happen sometime later, maybe after you actually enter a hiscore ?
the addresses in hiscore.dat are actually wrong (it happens sometimes), so it can't find them
there is a bug in our hiscore feature

Please test again after updating, and let me know the result.

@barbudreadmon No luck. I set a score: after exiting and starting again, the game reverts back to the standard 20,000 score and names are also erased from the attract mode list.
