Can I Convert Old Save Files For Use in Retroarch?
-
About ten years ago I played through 75% of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my desktop using the Project64 emulator. I'd hate to have to start over, so I was hoping there is a way to convert the SRA save file to something Retroarch can read. I tried simply copying it over as-is and loading up the game, but it does not recognize it in the save slot of the game's menu. Any hope?

I found this:
It is possible to use 512-byte eep files with libretro-mupen64+ simply by renaming the file to srm, but reversing the operation requires pj64tosrm. Bigger eep files require pj64tosrm due to a mistake during the implementation of srm support in the early days of the mupen64+ port to the libretro API.

@alphabetapie Yes
I have a Mother 3 save file thats been used on an Android phone, my first Raspberry Pi, my Desktop, my Wii, and my Second Pi, although you'd probably have to name the save file to something like the roms name.

@alphabetapie surely if it was 10 years ago you've forgotten most of what's happened? I would restart it to get reinvested in the story :)
