@kounabi22 This seems to be one of the games that doesn't work correctly with lr-PCSX-ReARMed. I tested it and found the behavior similar to Twisted Metal III and 4, as described in this thread:

            https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/22580/psx-twisted-metal-3-4-4-players-not-working/2

It seems like, for this game and the two Twisted Metal games in the above thread, the following scenarios occur:

-Both multitaps disabled: Controllers 1 and 2 both work
-Multitap 1 enabled: No controllers work
-Multitap 1 disabled and Multitap 2 enabled: Only controller 1 works

Do you know of a particular multitap configuration that is supposed to work with this game? I wasn't able to find a scan of the manual. I wonder if the way RetroArch loads the controllers makes the game think that the controllers are being "hot plugged" instead of being present at game startup. Some PS1 game manuals gave rather specific instructions about how to use the multitap (plugging controllers in in order, leaving certain ports empty, etc.).

@kounabi22 This game functions correctly in lr-duckstation with the multitap set to "Port 1 only."
