      Hi everyone. I recently bought a generic wired xbox one controller. I have installed the xpad, xpadneo, and de xboxdrv but still i can configure the controller. The controller is recognized when i start a system which it says xbox one s pad 1118/746 not configured.

      I hope you guys can help me tnx in advance

        For a wired Xbox controller you don't need neither xpadneo nor xboxdrv. Remove the drivers and re-install the xpad driver, then reboot your Pi and configure the controller in EmulationStation.

          @mitu nope i didnt work. While conected to the raspberry the lights keep flashing as if it was searching for playera 1,2,3,4 (and yes i pressed the home button and it didnt work)

            @p3y0_a15 Is this a wired or wireless controller ? Wired controllers should connect right away.

                Is the controller working with a PC/Xbox ? Did you try to see if it works on another system but the Pi ?

                  @mitu Yeah it does Works on PC. I used it on an emulator

                    Add some more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. In addition to that, run the following command - from the command line - and post the output:

                        Looks similar to this issue in the xpad driver - it looks like it's not supported properly.
                        Someone made a separate - patched - driver project here, if you want to install it then remove the xpad driver installed by RetroPie and follow the installation instructions from the project page.

                          @mitu It didnt work. The lights keep flashing as if it was searching for a player (1,2,3,4)
