Install on SteamOS?

Had a quick look and couldn't see a topic on this. I have a DIY Steam OS machine and was wondering if it is possible to install RetroPie onto it (using the Github way)? Just thinking it would be cool to have an option for some retro gaming as well on it :)

SteamOS is just Ubuntu so the existing instructions should work:
