I built a small arcade for a family friend with a special needs child, the issue they are running into is when there son is playing he tends to hit multiple buttons at once. They put the arcade into Kiosk and Kids modes hoping it will help but when he plays he is always hitting the HotKey plus other buttons so he will open the Retroarch menu, or reset the game, save and load save states.
I just wanted to know if there was a way to disable functions like retroarch menu and reseting the game while in kids or kiosk mode while still allowing you to exit the game.

I have gone through the retroarch menu and changed the hotkey binds but this just seems to add a additional way access and does not remove the original way.

    Any help would be appreciated.

You can disable any hotkey enabled functions - and leave only exit - by modifying the controller's configuration file, which you can find in \\retropie\configs\all\retroarch-joypads.
