PCSX Rearmed - 8bito mapping?

I am trying to setup the PCSX ReArmed with 4x 8bito sn30 pro controllers. But i am unable to map the controls in the PCSX ReArmed GUI. could someone share with me the cfg file? I actually don't even have the cfg where it is documented to be: /opt/retropie/configs/psx/pcsx.cfg

@kvitekvist are you using the standalone emulator or the lr- retroarch version?
