Pooyan, but not the arcade. It was over at someone else's house, so it would have been an 80's home version. Probably the 2600, as I distinctly remember playing it on the living room tv.

I remember us getting a master system with Alex Kidd as the built in game.

But I also vaguely remember a tape based machine that an uncle brought over and we played what I now know is dig dug on it. Not sure what machine it was. Anyone care to take any guesses? (UK based, it wasn't a spectrum as I definitely would be remembered that horrible boot up!)

            A friend had a TOSHIBA HX-10 MSX1.
I think the first game I played was over there.
It was Scramble (Super Cobra) loading it from cassette.
We always were drinking thee while waiting for the loading process to finish.
Many times the loading failed, and the we had to move the heads a little bit and try again.
If we were lucky we could play after about 15 minutes.
I must have been about 7 years old.

Raid on Fort Knox on a Vic 20 cartridge. No joystick yet, only keyboard.

                  Frogger - Atari 2600
I think I was somewhere around 3 years old at the time. I would mostly run the stick in circles until frogger got splooched in traffic. I loved the sound effect.

It's the FIRST one, so yeah. My parents got it as a gift for looking at condos when I was about 4.

The first video game I remember playing was a Space Invaders knock-off called "Space Creeps." It was on the TI-99 and it loaded off a cassette tape. The early 80s was a long time ago so I might be misremembering, but I want to say my dad wrote it.

Another early one I remember was on my Grandpa's computer (a C64?) that I now recognize as an incarnation of "Theseus and the Minotaur," although it went over my head at the time, and I always ran straight for the exit and got caught every time. It was rendered in ASCII text and also loaded off cassette.

I was "babysat/watched" by an older cousin at their house. They had Frogger on the Atari 2600... mind blown. :)

Probably either Snafu or Astrosmash on the Intellivision. I believe Las Vegas Poker & Blackjack arrived at the same time but that game was lost on six year old me!

It's over 30 years ago so a bit hard to remember.
It definitely was one of the following:

                                        • Double dragon 2 for the NES at a friends house

                                        • California games on the Atari Lynx (LOVED that surfing mini game)

                                        • Paratrooper on DOS

Pi 3B , 64 GB Sandisk ultra flashdrive, 19 systems, 872 hand picked classic gaming gems :-) Dual shock 4v2

My father brought home an Atari 2600 and Space Invaders. My life has been on this path ever since.
