Hello, I have a Raspberry 4 4GB with Retropie 5.10.63-v71 and installed amiberry via compiler not from binary. Amiberry works fine, but the mouse cursor does not select the correct field. In the upper area the position drifts up, in the middle of the screen it fits and in the lower area the position drifts down.
I hope you can help me
      thanks

@friendlist21 Did you or anyone find a solution to this problem please? I seem to be having the same issue.

@matp @friendlist21 the upcoming update of Amiberry (5.1) doesn't suffer from that issue you described. I'm heavily testing that version for couple of weeks now without issue. I'd recommend you'd wait for 5.1 to be merged in Retropie Setup (should happen soon) but if you can't then have a look to this PR.

          Hope this helps.

@nemo93 Oh great, thank you. Funnily enough one of my retropie setups doesnt suffer from the issue, the other does - both on 5.0.

              Maybe this issue?

              https://github.com/midwan/amiberry/issues/940

It needs to be reported upstream if It's an issue with recent kernels. I'll have to test.

@BuZz It's not the mouse skating problem for me, it's the pointer being a bit off target in the GUI but fine in everything else.

In my opinion this is not Amiberry version related problem. Few days ago I installed Pimiga (it uses Amiberry 4.1.6) - mouse cursor in Amiberry works like a charm in this distribution.

@franek1709 It looks like I found solution for this problem. I compared /boot/config.txt from Pimiga with the same file in RetroPie. It looks like uncommenting one line fixed this issue:

                      # disable_overscan=1

At last I can use Amiberry menu with mouse! Before applying this fix I had to navigate with keyboard to access buttons located at bottom of the screen.

@franek1709 Thanks for that simple fix. I've been loving playing the old Amiga games but that issue with the mouse pointer had made it such a pain loading in the disk images. Works perfectly now :)
