Retroarch Video Drivers PS emus for RPi3 B+?
-
I have recently re-installed the lastest version of RetroPie for RPi3 model B+. I have been playing around with Duckstation, I know this isn't really supported (on the down low). My question is more about RetroArch Video Drivers: gl, sdl2, dispmanx. Which would be prefered choice for PS1 and maybe n64? I know Retropie doesn't support Vulkan video driver? Is it possible to at least use opengl/hardware instead, It doesn't want to be active or get black screen. Or no quality changes take change. I don't like software mode, very limited options. software would look good on a old crt instead of hdtv, yes graphics do look age, I would like to remove dithering. Is anyone playing with Duckstation?
Also somehow I accidently see a prompt splash screen (grey colors) about controller support before the game is started, how I do I remove that, it wasn't there before? I'm not talking about the controller prompt on the left side corner border message.
Is it possible to to remove the checkerboard pattern from Retroarch, it really bothers my eyes?

@lukePi-0 you shouldn't be adjusting the retroarch video driver in this circumstance. info on HW rendering in duckstation are here: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/30743/lr-duckstation-experimental-new-playstation-1-emulator - you cannot use duckstation HW rendering on a pi3
i believe lr-pcsx_rearmed has a core option to remove dithering.
