      I've been trying to figure out how to make the screen rotate 90deg. I have the vc4-fkms-v3d driver on as you might expect, and display_rotate does not work, nor the method outlined in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/26483/display_rotate-not-working-after-update

      Anything else I've tried hasn't worked either, if anyone has an idea, the help would be appreciated.

        The cmdline.txt options in the linked topic will only rotate the console terminal, not the entire display. To rotate also EmulationStation's screen or the emulator video output, you need additional configurations - some details are in this topic.
