I have a problem with N64, I saw a lot of videos on YT where games were shown that worked very well myself, I wanted to try myself, I burned Retro Pie on an SD card, uploaded games on N64, the image and sound are choppy and laggy, there is a problem I do not want to use lr-mupen64plus because it freezes on some games of my collection, I don't know how to fix it, or there are any settings invisible

Hi there ! N64 emulation is difficult due to the limitation of the raspberry PI hardware, however there are a few tips & tricks you can try: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Optimization-for-Nintendo-64/

Please be aware you may have to use different emulators & graphics plug ins for each N64 game, as some work better than others. Trail & error until you find the best combination ;)

@mix_on you need to give us a specific game example complete with verbose log. please give all the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

i would remove your overclock, also. cpu overclocks are irrelevant for n64, and it could be causing your freezes/lag.

@mix_on this is not the required information you have been asked for.
Also the asked verbose-log is still missing.
