@sirhenrythe5th OK so I use the Raspberry PI 1
Power supply is a regular phone charger
      Retropie version:4.7 (LATEST)
Built from the pre-made SD card image from the rpi Imager
I use a usb for transferring ROMS and use a keyboard for controls
I got a error message on the music which got resolved
The file I use is the Sonic CD (U) !.zip

Retropie 4.7 is by far not the LATEST, it is nearly 2 years old.
We are at 4.8.2 now, is there a special reason why you dont update retropie?

Built from the pre-made SD card image from the rpi Imager

What does that mean "from the RPI Imager"? Did you get the image from the retropie homepage?

Which emulator are you using to run Megadrive/Genesis?
Do you have the BIOS-Files for the MegaCD?

@sirhenrythe5th Ok so I told retropie 4.7 is the latest because I searched on Google and I got that as the answer. I know that I use the latest ver because I installed retropie very recently like a month ago.

          I use ir-picodrive for Megadrive

Yes I have the BIOS file but I am confident I did something wrong which caused it to not load in, in retropie

You have to unzip the file.

Yes, not all emulators playing zip files.

lr-picodrive playing SEGA CD roms with only this extentions : .bin .chd .cue .iso .m3u.

More information about roms and emulators you can check the RetroPie Docs : https://retropie.org.uk/docs

I have tried it. It is not working :(

Let me tell the problem again:
So usually when you install a ROM you get the system that the rom is made for on the home screen right? Well that is not happening with me. It is not even displaying the system

Pls help me with this issue

Create the folder segacd into the roms folder and add the game here. Also SEGA CD needs bios files, witout them, you can play the games.

Sorry we can't share bios or roms, or share info, links about place were we can find them. It is ilegal and against of the rules of RetroPie Project.

In the RetroPie Docs you will find info abou the bios you need and where to add them.

                                    /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS
