Auto-reset game when inactive?

Hi guys
I'm building a custom arcade cabinet for a friends wedding party. The cabinet will house one MAME game only (kiosk style) and we would like an auto-game-reset if inactive/if no-one is using the cabinet for 60 seconds. Is this doable? I know myself around RetroPie a bit, but I'm not sure where to start here.
Any help or guidance is much appreciated

@kraken0667 I think it is ... strip "my" demo-mode script ... or use the kill command with a time constraint ....
