Some Emulators not centrered
-
Hi,
Hopefully this is an easy one but given im new to this I haven't been able to find the answer.
I've just put together a machine using a Pi 3B+ and image and have it almost completely working perfectly. The only issue I am having is a small number of the emulators (mostly handheld, Gameboy, GBA, etc) are not appearing centered when loaded and are to the right of the screen with half of the screen not showing. I'm assuming that it is a cfg file that i need to modify for the emulator? or something else?
I can upload images if need be but im pretty sure many will have encountered this issue anyway.
thanks in advance.

We don't support 3rd party images, their configuration is always wrong in some way we can't tell since the author(s) of said images modify it from RetroPie's defaults. By the looks of it, it's also using a very old version of RetroPie.
Start with the image from https://retropie.org.uk/download and you'll not have this issue.

ok.
was hoping someone could point me to the relevant .cfg file as a start -
@Max-1 as it is not the default image we do not know which conf is relevant for your issue.
As Mitu said: install the official image and you wont have this problem.
Or you have to ask VirtualMan for support, as he is responsible for this very old system you are using right now. -
thanks - sorry i hadn't realised it would be different cfg files.
I'm new to most of this and am happy that i had this image almost working perfectly other than this issue.
thanks anyway.

@Max-1 i never used premade images and can recommend to build your own image.
Makes a lot of fun, you learn a lot and everything looks, feels and works for you as you want it ;)So, whenever your image crashes totally: feel free to get support for your own build here, we will be ready to help you then!
