Playstation emulation for RP 4.8 on Pi4?
-
Have there been any updated release notes for support of the PSX emulators? Wonder if they have any plans even.
-
I don't understand the question. You can see latest updates here: https://github.com/libretro/pcsx_rearmed/commits/master

Officially, RetroPie for Pi boards, have 1 emulator for Psx games, lr-pcsx-rearmed. You can install unofficially, from RetroPie-Extra repo, the lr-duckstation or lr-swanstation.
Also there are another one, experimental-unfinished script, of standalone Duckstation but I don't know if the devs will continue to work in this or they will abandoned it. I hope they add this emulator in RetroPie, is better from libretro variants and it's development is very active.

@windg i am still using lr-duckstation. Have you ever tried lr-swanstation?
Would you recommend this emulator, because it has an active developement? -
Yes, when I want to play a game that doesn't work correct with lr-pcsx-rearmed I am using swanstation, so far I don't have issues. The development looks active but I think, without be a developer, that they don't do something significant, they are cleaning the code.
By the way, the development of pcsxrearmed is very active, the emulator is improved very mutch.
