So I just downloaded the safe shutdown scripts on my gpi case 2 with cm4, and everything works. Except for one thing. The audio does not seem to work no matter how much I mess with the sound settings. The one thing I remember doing that could possibly break it is changing defaults.ctl.card to 0 and defaults.pcm.card to 0, and that fixed the sound before the scripts. Could anyone help me? Thank you!

Can you add more details about your setup, as asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ?

If you use the RetroPie Audio menu to reset the settings and then choose the audio output, does it work ?

I'm very late on this one but I had the same issue.

It's also been reported in GitHub (https://github.com/RetroFlag/GPiCase2-Script/issues/22) - there's a workaround there that worked for me.
