Can we use Pad2Key?
-
Is there a way to install and use Pad2Key instead of Joy2Key for a specfic emulator.
I have been mapping BBC Micro games on Batocera using Pad2Key and would like to get that working on RetroPie.
Thanks

Is
pad2key
a standalone project or something Batocera specific ?Note that
joy2key
in RetroPie is a script included in RetroPie-Setup and not a generic remapping utility like joytokey or joy2key. It is only used for the setup dialogs and not as a remapping utility during emulation.Xboxdrv can be used in RetroPie as a general remapping tool, not sure how it compares with the
Pad2Key
utility used by Batocera. -

Pad2key is really simple to use and great for mapping games which were for keyboard use only to joypad.

Sure, but it seems something specific to Batocera and not a standalone app than one can take and integrate into an existing setup.
