No setup/boot on premade 'A.P.' image
    board: RPi 3b
img: 128GB HYPERPIE IMAGE RETROPIE 4.2-MadLittlePixel

I get a dark screen with the little rainbow square in the upper left corner but then it just goes to the shell terminal thing and tells me that it cant run autostart.sh and the file it refers to is an empty file. Also it says that libvchiq_arm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried running the es bash and am bash start scripts but it says I cant use sudo

We don't support 3rd party images, especially the ones loaded with ROMs.

Ask the author for support or start with the image available at https://retropie.org.uk/download.

Please don't repost the same issue again - you've got your answer in the previous post.
If you wish to get support here in the forums, then please use the RetroPie image from https://retropie.org.uk/download.
