Pi Model or other hardware: Raspberry Pi 4 8GB
      Power Supply used: 15W
RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest): 4.8
Built From: Retropie via Raspberry Pi Imager
      USB Devices connected:Xinmotek 2-player Controller Board, TS-Trackball
      Controller used:Xinmotek
Error messages received: I am having an issue where the controls from emulation station are not carrying over to Retroarch and vice-versa. I've tried deleting all configs from the autoconfig folder of Retroarch and clearing the es_input.cfg file to start the control mapping process over again, but the controls aren't carrying over when I set them up in EmulationStation. If I try to set them up via Retroarch, they then stop it from working in EmulationStation. If I get them to work together, the hotkeys are no longer working in Retroarch (Quit will work, but hotkey + x no longer brings up the Retropie menu, Hotkey + B no longer resets Retroarch, Save/Load states no longer working, etc.)

UPDATE: I was able to fix the issue by going to RetroPie Setup > Core Packages and returning both the Retroarch hot keys and EmulationStation controls back to their defaults. Once I remapped the controllers again in ES, they carried over to RA.
