MAME Sound Samples NOT working no matter the directory

As you can see in this picture I have the mame sample directory not only set up in the required MAME2003 folder but with every other folder too. For some reason most games still don't work with sound. For example; Mario Bros does not have the run and coin sound even though they're in the folders. For some reason Donkey Kong works fine but still others like Mario Bros and Punch out don't

Run a game where the samples are not working with verbose logging and post the resulting log file on pastebin.com, providing the link here in the topic. -
@mitu Hi thanks for reaching out. I'm gonna post a follow up. I found out that samples work with MAME2003 but I'm trying to use fbneo for all roms since they save high scores.
