      Hello,
      I'm looking for assistance getting additional WADs to work. The master levels are all separate, and other users advised the use of a tool to combine them all into a WAD(Unofficial Master Levels for Doom 2 Patch). Loading the combined WAD using lzdoom or lzdoom-addon simply loads Doom II or Doom II with a mod I'm using.

      Start Script

      "/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh" 0 _PORT_ "doom" "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/doom/masterlvls.wad"

        Copy the masterlvls.wad in the roms/ports/addon folder, then run the Doom 2 , choosing the lzdoom-addon emulator from the Runcommand launch menu. lzdoom should be loading the .wad file from the addon sub-folder automatically.

          Thank you, this did work.

          I have a couple of other questions related to this in case others have the same problem.

          What do the permissions need to be for it to work and how do you modify them?

          Since it is accessed through the Doom II script and game, is the script I put in for that particular WAD useless and can be deleted?

            If you copy as you do for the other ROMs, permissions shouldn't be a problem. See our docs for transferring ROMs.
