      Good morning friends,

      i allready searched the forum, but the latest topic concerning lr-desmume was from 04/2021, so i start this new one:

      has anyone tried lr-desmume on a Pi5?
      I never tried this one because it was flagged as "bad performance" even on a Pi4.
      Now i am curious if the power of the Pi5 may be sufficent to run this emu at full speed.

      Drastic is no option for me: i am RetroAchievement addicted :D

        It's still bad for some reason; however lr-melonds works very well and is my go to for DS on pi 5

          @retropieuser555 thank you so much for this hint, a had in mind that there was another emulator...but it was not listed in the official docs (outdated i guess).
          Will give it a try in the evening, great! :)

          thx!!!

            @sirhenrythe5th said in lr-desmume performance on Pi5?:

            not listed in the official docs

            its not going to be, since its not part of the official build. you have to install it from my repo

              @ExarKunIv got it!, i allready thougt that lr-melonds has to be in the extra-repo as i did not find it in the reular core-sections ;)
              I just printed out your installation-tutorial here in the office and will start again in the evening ;)

              thx for advise!
