Dreamcast Raphnet Adapter/controller not detected

I've recently put together a project and wanted to use a real Dreamcast controller. Purchased a raphnet adapter and tested on PC working fine but it's not detected in RetroPie. With it being USB HID I thought it would simply be plug and play but I guess I'm missing something? Running Pi 4B. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Please add some more info about your setup, as detailed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.
I assume that by 'not detected', you mean you can't configure it in EmulationStation ? Can you try to test the gamepad with
jstest(see here and see if it works ?
Please post the result of the following commands:cat /proc/bus/input/devices lsusb
