sound issues with sega system 16 games

hi guys , i have all the mame games set up through multiple emulators , i am using fba next and mame 2003 and 90% of the games play solid on my pi3 running floobs attact mode with retropie.. i haveing problems with the sound of golden axe, altered beast, etc samples sounding very scratchy. has anyone got round this issue thanks

emulators used - lr-fba-next - lr-mame2003
Pi Model: (pi3)
RetroPie Version Used: RetroPie 4.0.1
Pre made SD Image from floob retropie 4.0.1 with Attract Mode 2.1.0 )
USB Devices connected: usb wireless synic keyboard
Controller used: xbox 360 padlike i said over 90% of games working no problems, but the sound in sega system 16 games ,golden axe, altered beast ,moonwalker, eswat etc. i have looked through all the different rom list to see compatiblity and they look fine in there

outrun was fine when I tested in lr-mame2003 on my raspberry pi 3 afair.
What PSU are you using ?

please can you posts via pastebin.com or in a code block on the forum the contents of
/boot/config.txt
and the contents of
/opt/retropie/configs/mame-libretro/retroarch.cfg
and/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg

how do i access these directorys i only can access this directory from the network on pc \RETROPIE\configs\mame-libretro there an config file there. and outrun sound is fine on mine , it the above games mentioned thanks.

i have solved the problem , a user on here told me to use mame2010 for the sega games and they all work soild now with the sound.
