Updated Rclone needed? {Solved}
-
Raspberry Pi 4 - OS 4.8.8.
Cloud saves to Google Drive are no longer functional.
I'm assuming my Pi needs a good update on this.
Anyone care to walk me through on what needs to be done?
Cheers. :)

Took a total of four hours today but I finally got it back.
Dear Lord, Rclone is such a tremendous pain. :/
-
@Addison Patience is a virtue..hehe. Glad you got sorted. Hopefully you didn't pull al your hair out :-)
-
Yeah.
After following their instructional guide (which is total nonsense):
https://rclone.org/drive/#making-your-own-client-idHere's the final requirements that were expected of me:
I have to make a YouTube video and write an essay on Retropie gaming?
lol
What? :PSuch a garbage and weird service overall, but I'm so happy that it's all working correctly again. :D

@Addison So many hoops to jump through..need to be a circus performer haha :-) Unfortunately it seems nothing is easy nowadays concerning copyrighted info. Damned if you do...damned if you don't..lol
-
And it borked on me yet again.
Wish that I saved my notes on how I properly upgraded it all last time.
Looks like I'll have to start from the beginning once more.
If anyone else is using Rclone, care to share some advice on this? :)

Whoohoo!
I got it back running once again!
It gave me much joy to see that the save file from the Final Fantasy game I've been playing on handheld showed up as available on my Pi!
I even said in my best hacker voice, "I'm in...." lol
At least I took excellent notes this time around in case another update is ever needed. :)
