    Hi, so I know Retropie allows you to use multiple controllers, but I'm wondering if there's an answer for my particular set up?

    I'm looking to get my Mayflash 3in1 adapter (which converts n64/saturn/ps2 controller input to usb) working alongside a SNES USB Controller. So I want each controller to work with their corresponding Emulator. Does RetroPie allow this? Is it an easy process and if it does get set up will I have to re-configure mappings whenever a controller gets disconnected?

    Thanks in advance.

      I have the Mayflash SNES and Mayflash Mega Drive/Genesis USB adapter. I only have 2x SNES controllers and it works on both of those. The Genesis one is hit or miss when I tried controllers I know work on a real Genesis. I tried 4ish 6-button Genesis 1470 controllers so far and only half of them worked; the original 3-button worked on one Pi setup but not another – so that's a pretty bad success rate. I also had to go through THREE different PS1/PS2 USB adapters (non-Mayflash brand) to find the brand that worked on a Pi ...so your mileage may vary with the Mayflash 3-in-1 adapter with all those different controller types just so you know.

      RetroPie does seem to remember their key bindings however.

        @massaki
        I have some questions:

        1. Is this your adapter?: http://www.mayflash.com/Products/UNIVERSAL/PC035.html
        2. Can you plug the three controllers and use them simutaneously?
        3. What are the names RetroArch show when you start it (those yellow letters at bottom-left)?
