      Hello Everyone,

I was hoping someone would be able to help me get one of my favorite games running on the retropie.

I have a P3 that is running the newest version of Retropie (v4.1). I have setup psx emulators before so i have some knowledge (though mostly just installing plugins).

I have the lr-pcsx-rearmed and pcsx-rearmed emulators installed and i have the BIOS file setup. I have other PS1 games that work fine (after i figured out the .cue files lol), but no matter what video mode and/or framebuffer configuration i try i cannot get past a black screen for Guantlet Legends. Sometime it will take me back to the ROM selection screen other times it completely locks up.

Hopefully someone already has a configuration figured out for this so i can skip the headache!!

      Thanks!

Gauntlet Legends doesn't even appear to run correctly on PC emulators. I've tried RetroArch for PC, and PSCXR and both will not play it. EPSXE doesn't appear to run on Windows 10?? I can't get any of the executable files to run. I haven't tried PSXFin.

EPSXE runs fine on Windows 10, at least for me

I just tried my version (which might have been gotten from a popular ROM site on the web...maybe not ;) on RetroPie 4.1, using lr-pcsx-rearmed, and it loads just fine. I would reinstall at lease lr-pcsx-rearmed (and then reboot of course), if not all the main packages as well if that doesn't work. Re-download or re-rip the game from your own DVD as well.

@Dochartaigh Thanks for the quick reply! I uninstalled the lr-pcsx-rearmed emulator (and rebooted) then re-installed it (and rebooted) but still have the same issue. I have gotten my game a couple of different ways so right now i dont believe its the ROM.

Do you have any special settings, like resolution or framerate? Using a different gfx plugin?

Right now im waiting for all the main packages to reinstall.

I use a CRT-Pi shader for all games (except for DOSBox and GBA), but that's it. Not a single other thing I added from the stock config. I remember Gauntlet working before I started messing with shaders too.
