      Pi: Pi 0
      RetroPie Version: 4.1

      I'm trying to follow https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/emulationstation

More specifically, I'm trying to do this section:
      https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/emulationstation#es-doesnt-detect-my-controller-when-started-at-boot

I have no idea how to "add a "sleep" command in the EmulationStation start a script in /usr/bin/emulationstation". I don't even have an idea on how to get to /usr/bin/emulationstation. I have my microsd card that I flashed with RetroPie 4.1 but I don't see any folders that would let me modify any emulationstation configs.

I'm trying to set up my Raspberry Pi 0 for the first time with RetroPie but I don't have access to a USB keyboard, so I'm trying to set everything up with a GamePad and EmulationStation doesn't register my GamePad. I've tried two different GamePads and neither of them have worked.

I have tried for hours to figure out how to do this, but there is little information other than "go to /usr/bin/emulationstation and modify this file"

I tried searching for this on the wiki, I tried searching on the forums, I can't find anything! I'm at my wit's end.

Please, someone help me get RetroPie up and running.
