      I'm new to the MSX platform and emulators and trying to figure out how to map control pad buttons effectively. I'm trying to use the Libretro MSX emulators (e.g. lr-bluesmx). Basically I want to play one of the Metal Gear games, but the controls are very keyboard based. Is there a way to configure retroarch or the control pad I'm using to map a button to a keyboard key? For instance, mapping X on my controller to the F4 key?

        @JiggaWatt i dont think the f keys can be mapped to the controller in retroarch. You definitely want to map f1-f4 if you can for metal gear though. Maybe with joymap.
